Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies for high-volume distribution networks
- Oversee transportation management including LTL/FTL routing, carrier negotiations, and freight auditing
- Optimize warehouse operations through WMS integration, slotting analysis, and inventory control protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop KPI dashboards and data-driven reports for executive stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements with 3PL partners
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Drive sustainability initiatives through green logistics and carbon footprint reduction programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics operations with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active preferred)
- Proven track record of optimizing transportation networks reducing costs by 15%+
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation required
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing multi-million dollar carrier contracts
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
