Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize domestic and international shipping routes.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, including 3PL providers, to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are exceeded.
- Implement advanced data analytics to forecast demand, reduce transit times, and minimize operational costs.
- Oversee compliance with all relevant federal, state, and international transportation regulations.
- Drive the integration of new warehouse management systems (WMS) and route optimization software.
- Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and execute swift, scalable solutions to maintain uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and large-scale operational budgets.
- Expertise in WMS, TMS, and ERP software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Strong command of lean management principles and Six Sigma methodology.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
