Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 50+ logistics professionals to achieve operational KPIs.
- Optimize routing and load-planning strategies to reduce transit times and operational costs.
- Oversee compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales to forecast capacity needs and manage carrier relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance warehouse-to-transportation throughput.
- Manage end-to-end P&L for regional distribution operations.
- Implement advanced fleet management software to improve visibility and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in high-volume transportation and logistics management.
- Expert knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ERP platforms.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-modal supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse, remote, and onsite teams.
- Certification in APICS, CLTD, or Six Sigma is highly preferred.
