Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve warehouse throughput and transit efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including carrier negotiations and freight optimization.
- Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and inventory accuracy.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a culture of safety and high performance within the logistics department.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
- Expert-level proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and TMS software.
- Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and large-scale teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is highly desirable.
