Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve supply chain velocity and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring 100% compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carrier networks.
- Utilize advanced supply chain analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable operational improvements.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and inventory analysts.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to executive stakeholders.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity during supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or distribution management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale operational teams and multimillion-dollar budgets.
- Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a deep understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced analytical proficiency using Excel, SQL, or BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
