Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive transportation strategies to optimize lead times and reduce operational costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end supply chain visibility and performance metrics.
- Negotiate and maintain strategic relationships with 3PL providers and carrier partners.
- Implement lean logistics methodologies to streamline warehouse and distribution workflows.
- Monitor and analyze real-time supply chain data to mitigate risks and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Oversee departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with regional and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, transportation planning, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-modal distribution networks.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistics data.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing remote or diverse teams.
- APICS or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
