Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to improve supply chain velocity.
- Manage end-to-end freight operations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex routing and transportation bottlenecks.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to track KPIs and identify opportunities for operational cost reduction.
- Mentor and lead dispatch, warehouse, and administrative teams toward performance targets.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
- Implement lean methodologies to streamline warehouse and terminal throughput.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of senior-level experience in transportation, freight, or distribution management.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials compliance.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency in large-scale logistics networks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Certification in Six Sigma or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) preferred.
