Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to streamline freight movement and reduce operational overhead.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including carrier negotiations and performance audits.
- Implement and maintain rigorous health, safety, and compliance standards across all warehouse operations.
- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to optimize distribution center throughput.
- Manage P&L responsibilities for regional operations, ensuring budget adherence and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-disciplinary team of logistics coordinators and inventory specialists.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align supply chain capacity with fluctuating market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management in a high-volume environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP/TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong knowledge of domestic transportation regulations, carrier contracts, and freight audit processes.
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and managing multi-million dollar operational budgets.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-departmental communication skills.
