Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive transportation strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce operational overhead.
- Direct daily operations across multiple fulfillment centers, ensuring adherence to strict safety and compliance standards.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and foster professional development for a diverse team of logistics coordinators and dispatchers.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations with 3PL carriers and maintenance providers.
- Coordinate with executive stakeholders to forecast demand and allocate resources effectively during peak seasons.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced TMS (Transportation Management System) upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms, ERP systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Proven track record of managing operational budgets exceeding $5M annually.
- In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and industry-standard safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the agility to navigate high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
