Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-modal transportation networks (air, rail, truck, ocean) for 3PL operations
- Optimize warehouse distribution centers using WMS and TMS platforms
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and customs compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement lean logistics methodologies
- Analyze KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and freight spend
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements
- Drive sustainability initiatives through carbon footprint reduction programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years progressive experience in 3PL or manufacturing logistics
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation required
- Expert proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder TMS systems
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 15%+
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification and hazardous materials handling experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under tight deadlines
