Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation and warehousing operations to ensure seamless delivery timelines.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and carrier partners to optimize freight spend.
- Implement data-driven strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of warehouse supervisors and logistics analysts.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards across all logistics nodes.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify and eliminate supply chain bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain operations.
- Advanced proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ERP software (SAP or Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of domestic freight regulations and international shipping compliance.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and vendor contracts.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse, high-performing teams.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is highly desirable.
