Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations, ensuring optimal route efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless delivery schedules.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective strategies to reduce overhead.
- Direct the dispatch and warehouse coordination teams to achieve peak operational productivity.
- Lead safety compliance initiatives to ensure all transport operations meet federal and state regulations.
- Develop and mentor junior operations staff to build a sustainable pipeline of leadership talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics management.
- Proven track record of optimizing transportation networks and reducing logistics expenditures.
- Advanced proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
