Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery services.
- Implement lean logistics methodologies to reduce operational waste and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee multi-million dollar departmental budgets with a focus on cost-reduction and margin expansion.
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships to ensure SLA compliance and service reliability.
- Utilize advanced WMS and TMS software to track KPIs and provide actionable business intelligence reports.
- Champion safety protocols and ensure full compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations across all facilities.
- Mentor and develop shift managers and floor staff to build a high-performance, safety-conscious culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics management, distribution, or warehouse operations.
- Proven expertise in managing high-volume, automated logistics environments.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/WMS/TMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets for strategic planning.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams of 50+ employees.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
