Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive transportation strategies to improve transit efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage end-to-end freight operations, ensuring timely delivery across multiple regional channels.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of logistics coordinators and dispatchers to maintain peak performance.
- Oversee carrier relationships and negotiate service level agreements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to forecast demand and optimize fleet capacity utilization.
- Ensure full compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
- Implement lean methodology across warehouse and transit operations to eliminate bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of freight brokerage, FTL/LTL operations, and supply chain technology.
- Proven track record of optimizing transportation networks and achieving operational KPIs.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience managing multi-million dollar vendor budgets.
- Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and advanced ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistics data to drive decision-making.
