Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to meet company objectives and enhance supply chain visibility.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Vendor Relations: Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and carriers to secure optimal rates and service levels.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze logistics costs and identify areas for reduction without compromising service quality or reliability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance across all logistics functions.
- Data Analysis: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, shipping costs, and inventory turnover to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within the APAC region.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot complex logistical challenges effectively.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
