- Carrier Management: Negotiate and maintain relationships with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Cost Optimization: Analyze shipping data to reduce freight costs and improve margins.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise logistics staff to ensure peak performance and safety compliance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehousing operations to prevent stockouts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics reports.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
