Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
- Design and implement data-driven supply chain optimization strategies
- Manage relationships with 3PL partners and negotiate carrier contracts
- Lead continuous improvement projects reducing costs by 15-20%
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards
- Develop annual logistics budgets and KPI tracking systems
- Mentor logistics analysts and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in TMS/WMS implementation and process automation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle)
- International shipping regulations and customs compliance knowledge
- Track record of reducing logistics costs while improving service levels
- CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
