Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, distribution, and transportation management
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to reduce costs while improving delivery performance
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing complex multi-modal freight projects
- Optimize inventory systems and implement lean logistics principles
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and negotiate carrier contracts
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics management within freight forwarding
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and TMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Proficiency in customs regulations and international trade compliance
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent qualification
- Fluency in English and Dutch; additional European languages highly valued
- Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals in high-pressure environments
