Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end logistics strategies for 50+ daily shipments across 3 states
- Manage $5M+ transportation budget through vendor negotiations and route optimization
- Oversee fleet maintenance program targeting 99% vehicle uptime
- Lead cross-functional teams of 12+ logistics coordinators and drivers
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance metrics (OTD, TCO, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with procurement on freight audit initiatives
- Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce carbon footprint by 20%
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation management
- Proven track record optimizing multimodal freight operations
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP TM or Oracle preferred)
- FMCSA certification and hazardous materials endorsement
- Advanced Excel/Power BI skills for data analysis
- Strong negotiation skills with carrier relationships
- PMP or CSCP certification preferred
