- Manage $50M+ annual logistics budget with rigorous KPI tracking
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inbound/outbound transportation, inventory management, and last-mile delivery
- Optimize warehouse layouts and storage systems to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency
- Lead negotiations with carriers, 3PLs, and vendors to secure optimal rates and service levels
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) in logistics processes
- Develop crisis management protocols for supply chain disruptions and natural disasters
- Analyze logistics data using Tableau/Power BI to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including C-suite executives and major clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive logistics experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of TMS/WMS platforms (Manhattan, Oracle, or SAP preferred)
- Proven track record optimizing multimodal transportation networks (rail, air, ocean, truck)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics cost modeling and route optimization
- Certifications in CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Black Belt highly desirable
- Experience managing international supply chains with customs compliance expertise
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to lead complex initiatives
