Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and distribution network optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of logistics specialists, warehouse staff, and transportation coordinators
- Implement and maintain compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Develop strategic partnerships with 3PL providers and carriers to reduce transportation costs by 15-20%
- Analyze logistics KPIs (OTD, TAT, inventory turnover) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage $15M+ transportation budget and negotiate contracts with freight carriers
- Coordinate international shipments including customs brokerage and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics/supply chain management with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active) and transportation analytics
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or CPIM designation required
- Proven success optimizing multi-modal transportation networks (road, rail, air, intermodal)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets
- Deep knowledge of NAFTA/USMCA trade regulations and customs compliance procedures
- Excellent data visualization and presentation skills with Power BI/Tableau
