Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and execute strategic logistics plans to optimize cost-efficiency and delivery timelines
- Manage relationships with key transportation partners and negotiate contracts
- Implement logistics technologies and data analytics to enhance operational performance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and sustainability programs in transportation
- Ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations and safety standards
- Direct cross-functional teams including procurement, warehouse, and carrier management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Proven expertise in TMS implementation and logistics analytics
- Strong negotiation skills with transportation carriers and vendors
- Deep knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and change management
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- CSCP or CLTD certification highly desirable
