Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic logistics plans for multi-location distribution networks
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with 3PL providers
- Oversee warehouse operations including inbound/outbound logistics and inventory control
- Implement transportation management systems (TMS) for route optimization
- Analyze KPIs to reduce freight costs by 15-20% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams during peak season and crisis management
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
- Drive sustainability initiatives through carbon-neutral shipping programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM designation
- Proven track record of optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with NAFTA/FMCSA regulations and customs brokerage processes
