Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end logistics strategies for cross-border shipments
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with freight forwarders and carriers
- Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control and distribution efficiency
- Analyze KPIs to reduce transit times and improve delivery reliability
- Ensure compliance with Singapore customs regulations and international trade laws
- Lead digital transformation projects in logistics technology implementation
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in logistics management with 3+ years in APAC region
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and TMS platforms
- Professional certification (CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD) strongly preferred
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu advantageous
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Demonstrated success in optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
