Responsibilities
- Strategic oversight of inbound/outbound logistics operations, including port coordination, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery
- Optimize supply chain workflows using data analytics and AI-driven platforms
- Manage cross-functional teams of 15+ logistics specialists and warehouse staff
- Develop and implement sustainable logistics initiatives to reduce carbon footprint
- Establish KPIs and reporting systems for operational performance metrics
- Coordinate with international partners to ensure seamless intermodal transport
- Lead continuous improvement projects targeting 15%+ annual efficiency gains
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive logistics management experience in port operations
- Proven expertise in customs regulations and international trade compliance
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (SAP EWM, Oracle SCM, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Professional certification (CSCP, CPIM, or CILT) preferred
- Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages advantageous
- Experience managing cross-cultural teams and international stakeholders
