Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
- Lead strategic vendor negotiations and contract management for 3PL partnerships
- Implement data-driven logistics optimization using TMS/WMS platforms
- Develop cost reduction strategies while maintaining 99.5% on-time delivery rates
- Manage cross-functional teams of 15+ logistics professionals
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and ISO 9001 standards
- Analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in logistics efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics management with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in TMS/WMS implementation and optimization (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 15-20%
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in logistics KPI dashboards
- CDL certification and hazardous materials handling experience
- Experience managing international supply chains and customs compliance
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
