Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end logistics strategies, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing mentorship and performance guidance
- Optimize supply chain operations using data analytics and logistics management software
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with freight carriers and 3PL providers
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service level excellence
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive logistics management experience
- Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain metrics and KPI analysis
- Proven track record in vendor management and contract negotiation
- International trade compliance and customs regulations knowledge
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement expertise
- Exceptional leadership abilities with team management experience
