Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies for high-volume freight operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in route optimization and carrier negotiations
- Develop KPIs and analytics frameworks for performance tracking
- Manage multimodal transportation networks including rail, air, and ground logistics
- Oversee compliance with FMCSA and international transportation regulations
- Drive continuous process improvements through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor management and cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or CPIM designation required
- Expertise in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Proven track record in multimodal transportation optimization
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Experience leading teams of 10+ logistics professionals
- Knowledge of customs brokerage and international shipping regulations
