Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and transportation management
- Optimize warehouse layouts and implement lean methodologies to reduce operational costs by 15% annually
- Develop strategic partnerships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing ERP and TMS systems for real-time visibility
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (Incoterms, customs procedures)
- Analyze KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, freight costs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage crisis response protocols for supply chain disruptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in international freight forwarding, customs compliance, and multi-modal transportation
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and data analytics tools
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs while improving service levels
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships
- Fluency in English and Dutch; other European languages are advantageous
- Certifications in CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
