Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-modal transportation networks and carrier relationships across North America
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans reducing TAT by 20%+
- Lead warehouse operations including inventory control and WMS optimization
- Manage $50M+ annual freight budgets with 98% cost accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, CBP, and OSHA regulations
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ in management
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 15%+
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- CPIM or CSCP certification highly desirable
- Excellent negotiation skills with carriers and vendors
