Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage relationships with key third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and recommend data-driven solutions for process improvement.
- Oversee inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate procurement, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma) are a significant plus.
