Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost efficiency.
- Network Management: Oversee and optimize relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock turnover, and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) systems to minimize holding costs.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery rates, freight costs, and lead times, to identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Border Compliance: Ensure all export and import activities comply with Singaporean and international trade regulations.
- Team Development: Mentor and train junior logistics staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan) and logistics software tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms, HS Codes, and international trade compliance.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
