Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Drive the adoption of new logistics technologies and systems to streamline processes and enhance visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong internal and external relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of global shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or PMP are highly desirable.
