What You Will Do:
Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of freight forwarding and inventory management. You will take ownership of our logistics workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that drive our competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily shipping schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods across domestic and international routes.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and manage contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehousing teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
