Responsibilities
- Orchestrate complex shipping schedules and manage the dispatch of freight across domestic and international networks.
- Analyze logistics data and carrier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and coordinate warehousing activities to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for logistics bottlenecks, resolving critical delays and emergency shipments with speed and precision.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, customs documentation, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or freight forwarding.
- Proven proficiency with logistics software such as SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates, or HighJump.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret shipping metrics and generate actionable reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of negotiating with vendors and managing internal stakeholders.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLM) is highly preferred.
