Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
- Analyze shipping data and market trends to negotiate favorable rates with carriers and vendors.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and supply chain visibility.
- Resolve complex shipping issues, delays, and customs compliance matters efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software (e.g., Manhattan, HighJump).
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
