Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring of freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping discrepancies and optimize supply chain routes.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations, customs documentation, and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and secure capacity.
- Lead and mentor junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Utilize ERP systems and logistics software to track inventory levels and forecast demand accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Proven proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English.
- Deep understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CSCMP) is highly preferred.
