Responsibilities
- Spearhead the end-to-end coordination of freight shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and cost optimization.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Manage relationships with third-party carriers and vendors to negotiate favorable rates.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and international shipping regulations.
- Prepare and review complex shipping documentation, including bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate shipping quotes and timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manugistics) is a major plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex shipping data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
