Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end shipment coordination including customs clearance, documentation, and carrier management
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Manage warehouse operations and inventory control across multiple distribution centers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping partners, customs agents, and clients
- Implement sustainable logistics practices to reduce environmental impact
- Lead crisis management for shipment delays and supply chain disruptions
- Train and mentor junior logistics staff on SOPs and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding or 3PL operations
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, TMS, WMS) and data analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations and INCOTERMS 2020
- Proven track record in reducing logistics costs by 15%+
- Fluency in English and Dutch; additional European languages a plus
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred
