Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire logistics lifecycle, from procurement and inventory management to final delivery and returns processing.
- Carrier Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
- Route Optimization: Analyze shipping data and traffic patterns to develop efficient routes that reduce transit times and fuel consumption.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks, delays, and operational disruptions to maintain 99% on-time delivery rates.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all shipping activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and FMCSA standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior logistics staff and conduct daily briefings to align the team with company goals.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to make strategic decisions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for occasional site visits.
