Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end transportation strategies for European distribution networks
- Manage relationships with 50+ carriers, ports, and customs authorities
- Optimize routing using AI-powered logistics software to reduce transit times by 15%
- Oversee compliance with international transport regulations and safety standards
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics disruptions and bottlenecks
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality metrics
- Implement carbon footprint tracking for all transportation operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 8+ years experience in international transportation management
- Expert knowledge of EU transport regulations and customs procedures
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (SAP TM, Oracle Transportation)
- Certification in CSCP or CPIM preferred
- Fluency in English and Dutch; German highly valued
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI optimization
- Proven track record of leading sustainability projects in logistics
