Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to final delivery.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure cost efficiency.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, optimize routes, and reduce freight spend.
- Manage carrier relationships, resolving service issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to synchronize inventory levels with production schedules.
- Prepare and audit shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
- Proven proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan) and transportation management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of negotiating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and knowledge of DOT regulations.
