Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights) and technology matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, and licensing deals.
- Manage and direct outside counsel in litigation and regulatory proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across all business units.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team.
- Develop and implement legal policies to mitigate risk and support scalable growth.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the California State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technology law, IP, or corporate law.
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
