<p>As Senior Legal Counsel, you will act as the primary point of contact for all legal matters, providing expert advice to the executive board and department heads. You will oversee our litigation strategy, manage relationships with external law firms, and drive risk mitigation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.</p>

Responsibilities

- <li>Advising the board of directors on high-level legal risks and corporate governance matters.</li>
- <li>Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including NDAs, service agreements, and partnership deals.</li>
- <li>Overseeing the company's compliance with UK and international laws, including GDPR and corporate regulations.</li>
- <li>Managing external counsel and overseeing complex litigation and disputes from inception to resolution.</li>
- <li>Developing and implementing legal policies and procedures to mitigate business risk effectively.</li>
- <li>Conducting legal research and providing training sessions to non-legal staff on compliance and contract standards.</li>

Qualifications

- <li>Qualified Solicitor (or Barrister) with a minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law.</li>
- <li>Proven track record in contract negotiation, risk management, and regulatory compliance.</li>
- <li>Excellent drafting and communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.</li>
- <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.</li>
- <li>Membership of the Law Society (England & Wales) is essential.</li>
- <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li>
