Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and technology transactions.
- Oversee the lifecycle of complex contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating.
- Advise on Intellectual Property (IP) protection, licensing, and commercialization strategies.
- Assist in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and deal structuring.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK data protection laws, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations.
- Manage external counsel and oversee litigation matters when necessary.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (Solicitor England & Wales) with a minimum of 5-7 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in corporate law with specific expertise in technology contracts and data privacy.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of English commercial law and regulatory frameworks.
