Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial contracts, including NDAs, Service Level Agreements, and Master Services Agreements.
- Provide proactive legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies.
- Manage and oversee external legal counsel, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality legal support.
- Lead and manage litigation matters and dispute resolution processes to minimize commercial risk.
- Conduct regular training sessions for internal teams on legal best practices and compliance updates.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (or Bar Member) with a minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Strong technical knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks (specifically GDPR and UK data protection laws).
- Demonstrated experience in handling high-value transactions and cross-border commercial agreements.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
