Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative curriculum frameworks using ADDIE, SAM, and Agile methodologies
- Create multimedia learning assets including interactive simulations, video content, and assessment tools
- Analyze learning analytics to optimize course completion rates and learner engagement metrics
- Lead LMS implementation projects including Canvas, Moodle, and custom platform integrations
- Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 compliance)
- Mentor junior designers and facilitate design thinking workshops with faculty
- Manage stakeholder relationships across academic, corporate, and non-profit sectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
- 5+ years experience designing K-12 or higher education programs
- Expertise in authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and video production
- Proven portfolio demonstrating learning impact metrics (completion rates >85%)
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Experience with xAPI/Tin Can API and learning analytics platforms
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent project management experience
- Published research in educational technology or peer-reviewed journals preferred
