Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging, standards-based learning experiences using modern authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise 360) and HTML5.
- Conduct thorough instructional analysis to identify learner needs and define clear learning objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and subject matter leads to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.
- Implement instructional strategies such as micro-learning, gamification, and spaced repetition to enhance retention.
- Review and analyze learner data and feedback to iterate and improve course effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, instructional design theories, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the market.
- Mentor junior instructional designers and provide constructive feedback on course materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Instructional Design, specifically within the EdTech or corporate training sectors.
- Proven proficiency in authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and basic front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ADDIE model.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating successful course design projects is required.
