Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Design: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex IT systems to meet strict government security and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with policy makers, civil servants, and technical leads to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Critical Incident Management: Lead the technical response and recovery for system outages, ensuring 99.9% availability of public services.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to GDPR, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Legacy Modernization: Oversee the migration of outdated legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external technology partners and contractors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT Systems Analysis, preferably within the public sector, defense, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Clearance: Must be willing and eligible to undergo Security Clearance (SC or DV).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
