Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure solutions for federal clients.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and other government security standards.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate security breaches and system outages.
- Oversee cloud migration projects, including Azure and AWS integration.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
- Mentor and develop the skills of junior system administrators and engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems administration within a government or highly regulated environment.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly desirable.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
